Can you tell us a little about your background and what sparked your interest in Web 3.0 technologies and blockchain in the first place?
I started my career in the IT sector, where I had the opportunity to gain diverse experience in various marketing positions and gain a comprehensive understanding of various business processes. This gave me the opportunity to be surrounded by people who are up to date with the latest technological trends. I myself have always been interested in innovative technologies, so when I learned about Web3 and blockchain, I decided to focus my expertise on the marketing of the future!
What inspired you to do Web 3.0 marketing and business consulting?
My inspiration is all new developments in artificial intelligence, automation, machine learning, and decentralized technologies!
What sparked your desire to create the first Web 3.0 & Metaverse community in Bulgaria?
I believe that in our country there are many people who are excited about the topic, looking for up-to-date information, and like-minded people! I recognized the enormous potential of Web3 technologies and their role in transforming business. From there also arose the need for a community that could bring together like-minded people and professionals who share an interest in these emerging technologies. The goal of the Web 3.0 & Metaverse community is to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing in the technology community.
As an extension of the group, we also created the first platform dedicated entirely to Web3 training, career development, and communities - Web3Trib3.com. The website enables anyone to gain knowledge, experience, and skills in the fast-growing IT sector.
With the increasing presence of AI in our daily lives, what do you think will be a potential application in the future?
AI will be part of us! It will be our extension, a full-time consultant and a helper in everyday life, whether we are resting or working. Sort of like our personal operating system integrated into our minds. It might sound scary to many, but I'm definitely excited about this technological revolution!
What do you think about the impact of AI on the market and what steps can be taken to ensure that people will be prepared for these changes?
It's time for everyone to prepare for the professions of the future. In order to "survive" in the labor market, the modern person must be flexible, creative and possess skills in many different fields. The professions of the future will be complex, a collection of different activities and knowledge. They will no longer be limited to a narrow specialization in a given sector.
I see this as a great opportunity to enjoy a more exciting life where we don't waste our time on repetitive tasks or the same profession for years!
I'm sure that every young and active person already feels the change - in the dynamic times we live in, a week often feels like a month of events.
Naturally, regulatory and ethical issues arise, which is proof that we need professionals who have knowledge in different fields. For example, with AI we are talking about complex legal issues that need not just lawyers, but experts in digital law!
What are some of the most important trends that you think will shape the Web 3.0 industry over the next few years, and how can companies keep up with them?
Creating communities, fair reward sharing, and transparency.
The main change will be felt in the way the businesses of the future are structured - they will now be completely community-led.
Consumers will become the most important strategic decision-makers for the organizations they support.
In addition, we will talk more and more often about not just "customers", but about audiences of like-minded people who support businesses financially and are committed to their long-term development. I expect the first signs of this trend to be felt in increasing brand loyalty and building a relationship that lasts beyond the moment of purchase.
By fair sharing of rewards, I mean that the new expectation for brands will be to share their profits with their consumers. We are already seeing this in all the “Creators Funds” that social networks create to reward their active influencers. I expect this trend to continue as well, and why shouldn't users soon expect to be rewarded for watching ads and consuming sponsored content.
And last but not least, transparency - public information from companies about how they use and process personal information, how they generate revenue, how they utilize it, who they partner with, what their carbon footprint is, social engagement, etc.
How can people and businesses get involved in the Web 3.0 ecosystem?
By joining our platform - Webt3Trib3! Our formula is - quality content, active community, events, and career opportunities.
How do you think Web 3.0 will affect traditional social media platforms and online communities?
Everyone will probably move to a decentralized model and learn from Zuckerberg's mistake. More responsibility is needed to provide a secure environment to store the information we share constantly publicly and privately.
I also expect many platforms to create their own digital currencies to raise funding and distribute rewards to their users.
How do you see the Web 3 industry developing over the next decade and what new opportunities do you think will emerge?
I envision widespread adoption of decentralized applications (dApps), blockchain technologies, and correspondingly greater financial freedom. I also expect a lot of new software and hardware developments for the Metaverse, hopefully, this will also reduce the cost of the hardware needed to "enter" a person in the Metaverse and experience virtual reality - for now, it remains more of an event attraction.
I believe that Web 3 technologies will become more accessible and integrated into our daily lives.
How do you see the relationship between traditional finance and cryptocurrencies developing in the coming years?
I am positive that cryptocurrencies will gain even more popularity and recognition as alternative financial assets at the international level. With colleagues at Zahara Consult, we have the opportunity to work side by side with some of the leading international companies in the fintech sector. What we are seeing as a trend is that traditional financial organizations are increasingly turning to new financial solutions and exploring the opportunities that DeFi provides, exploring ways to integrate cryptocurrencies into their existing infrastructure.
What advice would you give to young people looking to break into the Web 3 industry and what skills do you think will be most in demand in the coming years?
No matter what you do or what you're interested in, the Web3 industry is evolving quickly and it's critical to have a strong desire to learn and adapt.
Stay curious, and constantly educate yourself about innovations such as blockchain or other IT trends.
Engage with online communities, attend conferences, and participate in projects to expand your knowledge and network of contacts - this is how you will discover new horizons!
And finally - how would you explain to an elderly person what you do for a living? :)
I would say: I connect people with common goals and interests to realize their ideas and make the world a better place!
